The tree-way ball valve consists of the valve body (1), the caps (2), the valve ball (3), and the valve steam (4). The valve body and the valve ball are sealed with the ball seats (5) and the joint gaskets (7), compressed by the bolting of the caps by stud bolts (16). The cap is on the steam axle. This position provides the given switching scheme (see below). The valve stem (4) is sealed with two gaskets (8) and (11). Valve shifting is performed by turning handle (12) through 180 degrees. Remotely controlled valves provided with pneumatic and electrical actuators are available. Coupler-joined ball valves are produced too. Producing of ball valves with welded caps is on a customer’s request. The valve can be mounted on the pipeline in any attitude position required. The ball valve principle of operation is illustrated on the scheme of the valve working position. The valve can be supplied with the valve-locking device.
JSC “RC “Fobos” also produces a three-way ball valve coupling. At the request of the customer, it is possible to manufacture with side pipes for welding. The spatial position on the pipeline is arbitrary. The principle of operation of this type is illustrated in the diagram of working positions. This model can be equipped with a position lock.

A three-way ball valve is a type of shut-off valve that is used for redirection, as well as connection of water or gas compositions. Based on the production tasks, the medium in them can be directed in different directions: 1 flow into two different passages or 2 liquids into a single outlet. There are the following types: L- and T-shaped. Externally, they practically have no significant differences. The difference is only in the design features of the regulating metal balls.
Regardless of its type, the three-way ball valve is equipped with several inputs and outputs. The role of each hole in a specific task is determined by its functional purpose. The L-shaped devices in the control balls have special passages with an angle of inclination from 90 degrees. Adjustment in this situation is carried out by changing the flow of the liquid in the desired direction.
The body of each element is made of sanitary hot-pressed brass of the CW617N brand, the rods and the gate with a T-shaped channel are treated with diamond polishing to reduce the likelihood of foreign particles sticking and sticking. Operating parameters: pressure 16 – 40 bar, temperature range – up to 150 C, resource – 20,000 cycles.
