The valve consists of the following principal components: the body (1), the caps (2), the ball (3), and the stem (4). The valve body (1) and the ball (3) are sealed with ball seats (5) and joint gaskets (7) compressed by the bolting of the caps by stud bolts (12). The stem (5) is sealed with stem packing (8) and stem seal (9). The pneumatic actuator consists of the housing and two pistons, which are seated at the ends of the rack. The ratchet latch planted on the shaft meshes with the rack. When supplying compressed air into the actuator housing the pistons turn the ratchet latch and the shaft. The torque passes on the stem by the adaptor, and the latter turns the ball. The top of the pneumatic actuator accommodates the electro pneumatic regulator. The valve can be mounted on the pipeline in any attitude position required.

The dimensions and standard size of the drive are conditional, because they are specified for a two-way drive, PN16 and a compressed air pressure of 5.6 bar. For other PN and compressed air pressures other than 5.6 bar, as well as for a single-acting drive, the dimensions and size of the drive will differ. Also, pneumatic actuators can be equipped with a manual doubler, a pneumatic distributor, a filter reducer, a positioner, shaft position sensors, which leads to significant differences in design and dimensions from those indicated in the figure. In addition to flanged valves, pneumatic drive can be equipped with coupling and welded cranes, the dimensions of which are indicated in the relevant sections of the catalog.
