Welded ball valves for nuclear power plants are intended for installation as shut-off devices on pipelines of technological systems at nuclear power plants (NPP) facilities and on pipelines of nuclear fuel cycle facilities transporting process media of the nuclear fuel cycle in agreement with the NFC enterprises according to NP 016-05, in serviced rooms outside the shell, in accordance with the class and group of fittings, provided that the technical requirements for the cranes satisfy the parameters of reactor systems in which the installation and operation of cranes is expected.

AK Phobos produces these cranes with a nominal diameter from 15 to 100 for a range of nominal pressures of 1.0; 1.6; 2.5; 4.0 MPa the temperature of the working medium is not higher than 200 ° C. The cranes are made according to the classical three-part scheme and have two versions based on the materials of the body parts: steel 20, steel 12X18N10T. Cranes belong to safety class 2 and 3 according to NP-001-15 and NP-016-06, group B and C according to NP-089-15, group 2 and 3 according to NP-070-06 have I or II category of seismic resistance according to NP-031-01 and are classified as 2VIIIb, 2VIIIs, 3XIIIb, 3XIIIs according to NP-068-05 and can be installed in systems important for safety.
Welded cranes are characterized by simplicity of design, high reliability, maintainability, the possibility of tightening the nozzles as the saddles wear out. Cranes are available with manual control, under the coupling and electric drive control.
