The design of the regulating valve – unlike the shut-off valve – allows you to leave its shut-off body (ball plug) in an intermediate position, without damaging the seats and maintaining class A tightness in the closed position. The dependence of the throughput on the angle of rotation of the ball plug with a constant pressure drop on the ball valve determines the throughput (flow) characteristic of the regulating ball valve, which depends on the profile of the hole in the ball plug.

FB39 regulating ball valves are available in two types: with linear and equal-percent throughput characteristics. With a linear characteristic, the increment of throughput is proportional to the angle of rotation of the ball plug. The regulating ball valve consists of a housing 7, a branch pipe 9 and a flange 14, interconnected by studs 15 and nuts 18. The plug 10 is installed inside the housing and is clamped by the seats 12. To ensure equal percent or linear control characteristics, the plug has versions that differ in the shape of the hole. The spindle 16 with a washer 3 is installed in the housing 7 and sealed with a package of fluoroplastic 4,5 and rubber 17 rings. The sealing bag is locked from above by a sleeve 1 and a locking ring 20. A disk stop 13 with a limb 8 is installed on top of the spindle. Divisions from 0 to 9 are plotted on the limb, which correspond to certain kv flow coefficients given in the table for each DN. A mark is milled on the flange of the housing 7. The plug is rotated by the handle 11. When the label on the housing flange is combined with the selected division on the limb, the plug occupies a position that provides the specified flow rate. Fixing in this position is performed by tightening the nut 2 on the stud installed in the housing 7. The spatial position of the crane on the pipeline is arbitrary. Cranes installed in automatic control systems are equipped with an electric drive, and have a three-part design of the “Classic” type with the preservation of regulatory characteristics. Also, control valves can be produced in coupling, fitting and welded versions of connection to the pipeline and equipped with electric drives for remote control and operation in automatic control systems. BALL VALVE REGULATING

 

The regulating ball valve is relevant when accurate calibration of the working medium flow is required. It can be installed on pipelines in which gas, steam, chemical reagents, liquid of any composition, water and other substances are transported. The regulating ball valve is integrated by means of a welded, fitting or flange connection, depending on the length of the main line.

The cranes presented in the catalog are characterized by increased reliability and accuracy. The ball plug is designed to regulate the equal percent flow based on the design load. All products are made of stainless alloy steel and can be used in operating conditions at very high loads.
