Trunk ball valves FB39 Ser. Trek are intended to be fitted as stop/shutoff valves on trunk pipelines of natural gas, oil and oil products, and other non-corrosive media.

VALVE DESIGN

The ball valve consists of the valve body (1) and the caps (2) welded to the valve after valve assembly. The ball is “ball in supports” (5) fixed between the caps (2) by pins (17). The torque passes on the ball by the pins (13). The stem is sealed by rubber ring on the bushing (21) and the set of collars (22). Boss (11) is demountable and it is jointed to the body by the screws (26) and pins (25). The junction between the body and the boss is sealed by rubber ring. The valve is supplied with a slewing limiter – a stop (23). It limits the stem (and the ball) pressing the bonnet flange. The bonnet (12) is intended also for the pneumatic actuator ПСДС (28) placing. The collars (22) are compressed by a nut (20). The ball sealing is single-acting with automatic working medium pressure bleeding-off. Bleeding will take place when pressure in the body cavity will be higher than pressure in the cap cavity approximately on 15 kg/cm2. The ball is sealed by polyurethane rings (10) mounted in bushings (7) fixed by rings (9) in order to avoid tearing. Rings (8) are intended for closed space making by injection of jointing paste. The bushings (7) are movable. The junction between the bushing and the cap is sealed by two rubber rings. The bushing (7) and the polyurethane ring (10) are compressed by the springs (24) as well as by pressure difference in the body and the cap cavity (if pressure in the cap cavity is higher than pressure in the body cavity). The valve is supplied with a safe decompression device (16) intended for pressure bleeding-off and a device (13) intended for condensate discharge. The valve is supplied with five check valves (14) intended for jointing paste inlet in case of valve leakage (four of them are for the rings (26), and one is for the stem seal). The check valve which provides for jointing paste inlet to the stem seal is jointed to the boss (11) through the adapter (15) which provides for mounting and demounting of this valve.
