Three-way ball valves FB 39 are intended to be fitted as stop/shutoff valves in the process lines at chemical and oil-refining plants, at pulp-and-paper mills and other production facilities using fluid, gaseous as well as corrosive working media. Distinctive features of these valves are advanced reliability and stamp-welded construction of the body.

The tree-way ball valve consists of the valve body (1), the caps (2), the valve ball (3), and the valve steam (4). The valve body and the valve ball are sealed with the ball seats (5) and the joint gaskets (7), compressed by the bolting of the caps by stud bolts (16). The cap is on the steam axle. This position provides the given switching scheme (see below). The valve stem (4) is sealed with two gaskets (8) and (11). Valve shifting is performed by turning handle (12) through 180 degrees. Remotely controlled valves provided with pneumatic and electrical actuators are available. Coupler-joined ball valves are produced too. Producing of ball valves with welded caps is on a customer’s request. The valve can be mounted on the pipeline in any attitude position required. The ball valve principle of operation is illustrated on the scheme of the valve working position. The valve can be supplied with the valve-locking device.
