PURPOSE AND SPHERE OF APPLICATION

Electrically actuated ball valves FB 39 (AUMA electrical actuator) are intended to be fitted as stop/shutoff valves in the process lines at chemical and oil-refining plants, as well as at pulp-and-paper mills and other production facilities using fluid, gaseous as well as corrosive working media. gaseous as well as corrosive working media. VALVE DESIGN

The valve consists of the following principal components: the body (1), the caps (2), the ball (3), and the stem (4). The valve body and the ball are sealed with the ball seats (5) and the joint gaskets (7), compressed by the bolting of the caps by stud bolts (12). The stem (4) is sealed with two gaskets (8) and (11). The bracket (13) joins the electric actuator and the valve. The torque passes on the stem (4) by the adaptor (14). The coupler-joined valves (see Table 3) and the welding-end valves (see Table 2) can be supplied with the electrical actuator. The valve can be mounted on the pipeline in any attitude position required.
